Huntington Mall Inn

Stayed overnight on a long drive with small kids. We ran into a small issue since I booked on a 3rd party app. Despite that the wonderful women at the front desk got us into our room quickly. The breakfast is great, it's not often you find almond milk at a hotel. My only complaint is no vent/ fan in the bathroom.

Overall visit on week 1 was good. Of course after working 12 hrs per day, you are exhausted and looking for a good, clean bed and they definitely had those. The rooms that we had were all good, clean rooms and relatively quiet. Recommend them for sure if you are in the area.

Staff were super friendly! Coffee was good, though I didn’t grab any other breakfast items with Cracker Barrel just across road and Waffle House. A/C was good and cold, plenty of hot water, towels, linens. It’s my favorite place to stay.

I had a very pleasant overnight stay here recently. It was a hot day and the outdoor pool was very inviting, but also very full so I opted not to use it. I did use the small gym which was limited but had an all in one machine in the corner with a good selection of attachments so I was able to get a decent workout. They also had several cardio machines. The AC didn't work great in the gym, but it was adequate. The room was fairly recently renovated and felt clean and cozy. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and no huge divit in the bed! I was on at the front of the hotel and is was a bit noisy outside until about 10pm, but after that I had no issues and slept great (AC in the room was great). I had to depart before the 7am start for weekend breakfast but they mentioned it was a "hot breakfast " so I would have liked to try it. Definitely a great place for a night or 2 if passing thru.

I stay here almost everyday for the present time being. They have had their ups and downs. When a hotel is switching over from one brand to another and new owners, things can be forgotten and sometimes issues are neglected due to the overwhelming tasks at hand. The owner Mr.H comes daily and I've watched him and personally seen how he is with his employees . He doesn't interact with guests too often but when he did I saw respect and gratitude for them staying here. The staff is absolutely top notch. House keeping has an amazing second floor worker and she really brightens this place up. She makes sure she gets everyone's needs met. The management is great. MRS. DONNA works the front desk and runs this place period. She doesn't let anyone come by without a hello, good morning, she k owz her job and she is the oil that keeps this place going without a doubt. Mark the gm is here everyday. He stays the full hours and extra when its needed and makes sure his employees have what they need and maintains a professional attitude even when being mentally exhausted. Overall man the foods good I the am. The place is clean, and to be a basically strictly worker hotel, meaning 90% are out of town workers who are dirty everyday boots with mud welding dust tools grease coming through here daily. This place does exactly what it is made for. It houses guests , keeps them warm in the winter. Gives them water to shower, and really let's problems mists hotels would throw fits about happening kinda slide because at the end of the day a mess is just that a mess. Now parties never gna happen loud music drug activity yeah right. That kinda activity is a nono not a warning either. Its seen your out. But this place has came together from me being a one star 6 months ago to really enjoying this place. Mr. H you doing good man.

Had a very nice stay over the 4th of July week. Went in to see my wife's family. We stay there quite often when we are in town. All the staff our nice and courteous. This stay we noticed a few things Our room had a large hole in the wall in the bathroom. They said they our working on getting it fixed. And I found very outdated sourcream at the morning breakfast witch they took care of right away.

Clean, we'll kept and stocked rooms. Professional and courteous staff. Within my price range. Close to everything you might want.

6/2025. We were really disappointed the motel has changed hands and it is now Huntington Mall Inn. There is no hot breakfast, and for that reason, we’re choosing to stay at a Best Western in a nearby location. The hot breakfast bar is unequaled. One of the top reasons we choose to stay here. The staff is friendly. The location is handy to the interstate and the local mall, but as a result, guests can hear road noise, ambulances/emergency sirens, and loud trucks all night. A popular Mexican restaurant is on the other side, and parking lot noise can be a cause for disturbance for some whose rooms are on that side of the facility. There is no elevator, so one must be up to carrying luggage up the stairway for second floor rooms. In our room, #207, the bathroom sink drained so sluggishly, we left half a sink full after washing hands or brushing teeth. Ugh. There was not opportunity to rinse the sink after each use as we are accustomed to do. The bathroom door squeaks, so a trip to the bathroom woke up both guests. Oh, no! That being said, we would not hesitate to reserve rooms again, but will check the doors for squeaking, sink for draining, and hope we are physically fit for climbing stairs on our next time through.
